"This nine track 12" is the first release by HONEYMOON from Nürnberg, Leipzig and Frankfurt. Their hardcore-driven punk sound is reminiscent of early German punk bands like Torpedo Moskau and Razzia, while also taking cues from O.C. punk rock and the colder side of post-punk. The lyrical topics on TROSTLOS range from interpersonal alienation to fascist residues in German culture and society, painting a bleak picture which directly corresponds with the band's sonic melange of melancholy and agression."
