GRAUE ZELLEN from Rendsburg and Hamburg were one of the most important German hardcore-punk-bands in the ’90s. Between 1989 and 2001 GRAUE ZELLEN released 3 LPs, a split-LP with NAFTIA from Greece, two 7″s, a demo and several songs for compilations. This double-vinyl collects the 7″s “hunger nach leben” and “keiner weiß wohin”, most of the split LP, cover-songs from MINOR THREAT, SO MUCH HATE and TERVEET KÄDET and several unreleased songs from 1989-1997. The band was popular for their energetic, raging liveshows and their radical political positions between antifascism, squats and the struggles of the ’90s in Germany and Europe. The band will be back on stage in 2019, new songs are in work. Counterculture at it’s best!
